Let’s lay down some green on the developing Lance/Floyd drama.
I say nothing happens to Lance. This blows over in a few months and we all get on with our lives. Anyone in?

im in. he’ll never admit.
im in. he’ll never admit.
…precisely why he will fall SO hard.

I’m just curious how he is going to fall so hard? I think the only way he truely falls is if he admits doping, no matter what anyone says. Because at this point, this whole saga is more than likely going to turn into a “he said, she said” scenario and in that case Lance is going to be able to deny until he is blue in the face.

Maybe, maybe not. The beauty of Lance is that people will stand on their head to defend him. If he confesses to doping and names names and dumps 800 tons of proof on the floor of the Seante then he will become a Christ figure. He will be reborn out of the darkness. The public will blame the pressures of cycling and point out the cancer. He will do penance by donating some money and doing the TV circuit and all will be forgiven. He is untouchable and it is a tragically beautiful thing to see.

The trouble with this scenario is that people will be too distracted by all the flying pigs to notice.
Armstrong in the OJ Simpson/Michael Jackson of cycling. He will never admit to anything, because even if everyone (ex-wife, former team mates, Dr. Ferrari, Johan Bryuneel, etc) comes out and says he doped (along with video film of him doing the the dirty deed), his fans will continue to say he’s innocent.
Given the attention span of the average American, I’d give this story another three days and then it will be forgotten.

IF they can prove he lied…he’d go down for that.
