I’ll be the first to acknowledge and stress “potential”, but damn, this could be a game changer.
Well, that escalated quickly.
Despite all outward appearances that the CDC is shitting the bed with their handling of this, it looks like they truly are shitting the bed.
It would be really interesting to see what protective gear the healthcare workers in Georgia and Nebraska were given as they cared for the patients that eventually recovered.
If somebody knows they have ebola and you know they have ebola, so both of you know they have ebola. Can you shoot them in self defense? I mean, shooting at point blank range wouldn’t make much sense because of the blood splatter, but lets say 5-10 feet.

If you have ebola and somebody else knows you have ebola, so both of you know you have ebola. Can you shoot them before they shoot you in self defense? Even shooting at blank range would make sense – your survival rate is 50%, but will be 0% if people are capping you on sight for carrying the disease.

I think if ebola was airborne it would already be at uncontainable levels and would spread probably as fast as a flu could. I’m not ready to hit the panic button quite yet.

I would be very surprised if that would fly. Not only that, but it would be a huge dick move to the first responders who would have to show up to the scene.

Actually, the Canadian Firearm Act makes it illegal to point a firearm at another person, never mind shooting. No ifs, ands, or butts. The only “legal” option is to the call for the cavalry and hope they feel like leaving their seat at Timmy’s.
