Anyone have any feedback on this seller, this seems to be the second or third batch of rocket tt they have offered. They seem to be mostly sunglasses, but they have various other items as well.

Thanks in advance.

Mine is in the mail. I paid $710 for a new 2004 Rocket TT with Kestrel EMS/650 Pro OS fork. I’ve emailed back and forth a little before I sent my payment, and he seems to check out (googled him also).

UPS scheduled delivery date 9/30/04. I can let you know more by then. If this is for real I got a smokin’ deal (I can’t imagine paying $1595 for this package (at Trisports), let alone $2600 elsewhere.

Hein

Well Hein, I have emailed back and forth a bit as well, and they are a power seller. They put a buy it now deal up for me this afternoon and after I saw your email I decided to pick it up. I just have not decided on the color, red or black. My current classic tt is a custom red, but the black looks sleek and fast. Yea, this is a smoking deal, but all of his auctions look like good deals.

Thanks,

Don

I think I know the deal here - maybe. Softride has a shit ton of 650 bikes - and was selling them “With free 404’s”…well, that was as long as you get a 650 bike. So either way you cut it - if Softride was shipping these biks with 650’s and the 404 - seperate and sell, make a profit. Or Softride sent out frames only at a huge discount as the 650’s just dont sell like they used to (cant figure out why they ever did really).

You may very well be right, more than likely actually. I really do not mind if everyone can make a buck and I can be happy with my deal. Even with the sweet Zipp’s $2600 is still way more than the wife will let me spend, even the $1600 softride special is is more than she wants to ok, especially since we will be having a baby before the bike gets here. Definitely ruled out the new bike. On another note I love my 650’s, but I also wanted my stuff to match my wife’s bike. They make me happy which is what really matters to me.
