I bought the Ultegra Champion SL and it was packed well, shipped promptly. The wheels were 420’s and not the 350’s spec’ed on the Motobecane website and I believe the brakes were different as well so it was a bit heavier - the complete 52cm bike weighed 16.8 pounds (with the ultimate digital scale) out of the box, not the 15.5 pounds as advertised. Otherwise the bike is a pretty good deal.

Dude - the fact is that you can get a whole Record groupset - with UltraTorque and a whole build WITH a frame for less than what Colorado Cyclist charges for just the groupset. Why would one not buy the bike (and eBay the frame).
As someone else said, this is the e-bay store for Bikesdirect.com. I got a bike from them two years ago for the same reason. $1,000 for an aluminum bike with full Ultegra 10spd, carbon stays and forks. I got it just for the groupo but I actually really like the fame and have ridden it with no problems at all.
