I have to go to Germany (Stuttgart) on business for 3 weeks in the near future. I’ve found a pool & figured I can probably rent a bike while I’m there. I know I can find someplace to run. I am concerned, though, about eating healthy while I’m there. I will be staying in a hotel without access to kitchen so cooking is not possible. So, anyone know of perhaps some healthier meals that might be available in a German restaurant? If I eat one more kartoffelnsalat…
I wouldnt worry about the healthy food thing Jay. Ten or Fifteen years ago it may have been a problem but anymore its pretty easy to find decent food.
Usually a number of Indian restaurants, some italian places etc… to be had plus a ton of great bakeries so you can go and buy some good breads and have them in your room as well.
there’s simply no way you can eat healthy over here. too bad we have only schnitzel and sauerkraut. luckily over the years we got used to it and even race successfully with a schnitzel in our carry-bags.
enjoy your stay,
uli
p.s.: “seeberger” dried fruits and nuts, “kölln” oats “blütenzart”, honey, banana, apple, milk - all you need.
