Easy trivia question

This probably belongs in the main room, but what the heck.

What’s the second biggest world commodity, behind oil? No fair looking it up.

RICE?

Chris

bzzzzt.

I can’t believe this is taking so long, considering the audience.

I would say energy even comes before oil if you can count energy as a commodity!

Nice try, but that’s a little too far outside the box.

Are you talking about biggest in value or in quantity?

Does water count as a commodity?

toilet paper!

You’re overthinking this.

What’s wrong with toilet paper? Almost everybody in the world uses it at least once a day! Imagine the millions of rolls per day…:-)) http://www.mainzelahr.de/smile/unsortierbar/klo.gif

plastics…? The only thing that confuses me is that you say this actually belongs to the main room! A hidden hint would help!

Man power? brain power?

only thing that confuses me is that you say this actually belongs to the main room! A hidden hint would help!

That *was *a hint. You guys are really dense, at times.

my first thought were: iron, tennis shoes, bicyles (Asians ride more biccyles than we do here in MiddleEurope),
.

You ever heard of anyone jonesing for some aluminum? Nope.

The world would get by pretty OK without aluminum. Or tennis shoes and toilet paper, for that matter. One might argue, on the other hand, that the number two commodity is even more vital than oil. It certainly is to some on this forum.

jonesing: is it living in its natural state or inert?

beer?

Real estate?

5280, I don’t understand your question.

Beer- No. As important as beer is, it’s not this important.

Real estate. Getting colder.
