Easton Attack front bottle mount

I finally got around to putting a front bottle on my Easton Attack bars. Not having a fancy carbon bottle holder sitting around I decided to use a Profile Design Stryke which is much cheaper and probably worked out better in the long run. For mounting I used the standard zip tie method but only after machining slots in the base for the ties to go through. The bottles do not touch the zip ties this way and go in and out easily. I put a couple of layers of electrical tape down to help hold it in place because I couldn’t find a tube that was ready to be sacrified. Here are some pics:

In case anyone is wondering, they are green zip ties and match the bike almost perfectly.

Do you like these aerobars? I am considering them and wondered about lack of adjustability? I like the ski bend style…but are they too long too short…adjust withe stem I suppose?
