Will I see any other ST’ers in Kittery this weekend?
I’m in for the 20… and if I can somehow manage 2 mi in warmup and or cooldown I’ll call it my birthday run (I turn 22 next Friday).
Laying low today and getting all rested, and at least temporarily, feeling nice and calm.
I’d like to do this race someday. I ran the course last summer and it was awesome, just a nice coastal route with great views.
I’m in but I’m just doing it as a progression run. I’ve seen too many people leave their Boston Marathon out there on the Eastern States course.
Unfortunately my marathon training has gone so poorly over the last 6 weeks that I don’t have a Marathon effort to leave out there!
I’ll be a gold and black Somerville Road Runners singlet (or possibly T-shirt). See you there.

Not sure what I’m wearing yet. What are we looking at for weather?
I am quite familiar with the course - ran the 10 mile in 2005 as a SR in HS (before it became the half marathon). Also, I think it follows the last bit of the same course from the 1/2 marathon I ran 6 weeks ago.
Fast flat and I’ve been told to “pray for a northern wind.”

Weather does not look good at all. The quote on accuweather.com was “drenching rain” and “increasing winds”.
Oh well.
Well, as long as it’s a northern wind.
You must like challenges. Not me! We run north to south so I sure HOPE it’s a northern wind!
