The water was actually refreshing. The air was a bit chilly. My wife took that shot about 15 mins after the pro start.

Thanks, we intend to do just that. Other than the chill in the morning the day was perfect for racing.
Thanks , that pretty much captrured the moment. Some folks were warming up others trying to stay warm.

Savageman was pretty similar, only w/ a breeze so we didn’t get the mega-cool “smoke on the water” effect like that.
Gotta agree, that’s about ideal racing weather.

Actually, that’s darn close to what it was at B2B last year.
I think B2B will be 2 weeks earlier this year, hope this helps.

Im hoping that moving it up two weeks earlier will help. 62 water I think I can handle, 42 degree airtemps for 112 miles not so much.

Nice pic! A local race last year looked just like that. Air was low 40’s, water was mid/high 60’s.
