I had one of those insufferable fans @ my house…kept razzing her (cuz I grew up in NY) , but kudos to Philly. They are obviously peaking at the right time of the year ! Will any favored team win this weekend ?

I have to say I am rooting for the Redbirds, even going back to their woeful StL days (and I still have my Stump Mitchell autograph grin). I love the StL Cardinals … just the baseball variety, but I do have a soft spot for the footbal squad, 'though they’ll never come close to the Bears as being my team.
I cannot decide if Philly fans want their team to win so they can celebrate, or if they want them lose so they can complain and demand the heads of McNabb and Reid to roll.
I am REALLY looking forward to the Ravens-Steelers game. Not a place for the faint of heart. It’s gonna be cruel and nasty … and the weather won’t be good either.

I too am wondering if people have their own opinions anymore or just regurgitate what they hear on ESPN or from Michael Strahan’s teeth. 30-40 assholes call in to WIP every day to bitch and all of a sudden Philly fans don’t like McNabb or Reid. Conveniently forgetting the fact that two years ago in an Inquirer poll McNabb was voted, hands down, as the best QB in franchise history.
We must’ve been the first fan base in history to be upset when our team didn’t play to its potential.
