So who’s in for Eagleman on Sunday? I’ll be getting into town on Friday afternoon w/ Andrew Yoder who’s coming off an impressive 3rd o’all at the KS 70.3 last Sunday.
We’ll have the PBN Tent set-up at the start/finish area (Great Marsh Park) from 12pm on Saturday & through race day, so please be sure to stop by if you have ANY questions about your race nutritional strategy. Also, if you’re in need of any last-minute nutrition, drop me a line & I’ll be sure we have it available (Brian@PersonalBestNutrition.com).
The forecast has been consistently calling for highs in the 90s:
So it looks like it’s going to be a typical HOT Eagleman day (we’ll have **POST-RACE ICE BATHS **in the PBN Tent on Sunday, so definitely swing by as we test these to see how it works out
It’s going to be a great day of racing & outside of the professional ranks, I’d strongly suggest keeping your eyes on the M25-29 who will be going off in the 11th wave. An athlete on our Team will be racing his 1st 1/2 IM & I have a feeling, once he gets out of the water - he’s going to do some serious damage…so for those going off in the earlier waves, keep your eyes peeled for a *speedy *PBN kit coming by!
I’m in, it’s my first HIM as well and I’m in that wave.
So look for the PBN jersey, wait for him to leave transition and tie his shoelaces together. Check!
Being fast enough to do so is what will be the problem Best of luck - see you guys down there!!
I’ll be there with my gimpy calf and jelly roll around my waist. 0 swims, 0 bikes, 0 runs in the last 3 months means it’s just a long suffer fest for me.
