I have been using a Canon DV Tape Camcorder for the past couple of years. Every time I fill up a DV tape I purchase more DV tapes because I have not had the time to learn how to edit DV tapes on a computer. I have two software programs, Power Director and the Microsoft Movie Maker. I am not sure which one is better - thoughts? Also, I am not sure how to work with the date imprints on the screen…if I do not have the date displaying while transferring it onto the computer, does that mean I lost my chance to insert the date stamp in the video when editing (without having to type it in a text box of some sort)? Does anyone know of any good websites to learn more? The manual is not very clear.
