Are there any good durable training swimsuits? I’m going to have to buy another jammer here soon after about 5 months of 3x week. Starting to see my crack! Not too sure I want to go the speedo route either, Im kinda modest I guess.
polyester, it last forever but isn’t quite as stretchy as lycra.
Get a polyester square leg trainer from speedo. The suits last forever and you’ll look like a real swimmer!

Speedo has a line of suits made from their “Endurance” fabric which is billed as being 20x more fade resistant than a regular suit. They do last. My daughter has one which has several hundred hours of use on it and it still looks almost new.

You are lucky getting 60 swims from a single pair.
I just calculated and got 26 swims out of 2 pairs of jammers(2 1/2 months). I was really trying to baby these by just rinsing them in tap water and not using the suit spin dryer and still the backside wear is ugly.
I will try poly. I just bought 3 different poly suits from swimoutlet and I will see how those last.
Any recommendations on care? Wash or no wash? Delicate cycle, I assume? Hang dry, I assume? Suit spinner or not?
The TYR Durafast jammer has been the longest lasting swimsuit I’ve owned. Definitely recommended.
Any suit with lycra in it is not going to last very long. However, if you wash it after each swim it will extend its life. There is special swim suit detergent you can buy which is supposed to neutralize the clorine.
For a training suit, your best bet is to go with something that doesn’t have lycra in it. The Endurance suit I mentioned above has been worn 2 - 3 hours per day for close to a year and it still hasn’t worn out. This stuff is a bit more resistant to fading than other fabric but any non lycra polyester suit should last a couple years for all but the most swim crazy triathlete.
