Dura Ace BB and Crank installation questions

I just got my new BB and going to install it. I have removed my old FSA BB and cleaned the threads in the frame. The new BB has some yellowish stuff on it. Do I need to apply anything other than that? I have polylube 1000 and the park tool to install it.

Another question do I need to lube the part of the crank that slides through the bottom bracket? I keep seeing pictures of spacers, I am installing a Wireless Dura Ace SRM, should I wait to get the crank before installing the BB?

Yellowish stuff is thread locker - add some Phil Wood grease to the threads, make sure the BB if new has clean threads (chace them).

No reason to not install it before you get your SRM.

Can the grease and the thread locker mix? What does chasing the threads mean?

Thanks!
Ben

No, you chase the threads in the frame (LBS required). No, the grease will not mix with the thread locker…
