Dura Ace 7900 Chain Compatibility

Hey guys a quick tech question. I have Dura Ace 7800 drivetrain and was wondering if DA 7900 chain would be compatible with my drivetrain. Looking to replace my chain as it is wearing. Thanks

From what the shimano compatibility chart shows, the chain will be compatible. Make sure it is run the proper way as it has a forward and reverse side. I haven’t tried putting them on anything other than new 7900 to be certain.

It’s compatible- but 7800 can be picked up for much cheaper. The DA 7900 chain has logo on one side and no logo. The logo side faces outside when viewing bike on driveside. The universal link looks cool- and is relatively easy to use/install.
