If the cops auctioned off the clothing, I have to assume they considered the possibility that someone would wear it. Even if you do get into trouble, I’d rather that and be left alone by the yahoos on back country roads.
I tried something similar. I used to ride in a pink jersey with the words “Dancing Queen” in sequins on the back. For some reason it didn’t stop the harrassment.
