Duncan Thomas appears ready once again to set a Kona AG record, this time in the M55-59. He recently won the 55-59 race at Ralph’s. At Kona he has set the 45-49 (broken last year by Jeff Cuddeback), and the 50-54 records. Does any one know this amazing athletes’ story? He seems to lay low after demolishing the record, then re-emerges to dominate after aging up. I’m curious what his training is like, athletic background. I looked back in the race results from the 80’s and he was going really fast then too. Long career, but conservatively managed. Is this his secret?
