Just out of curiosity are there any regular road bikes at IM races, or is everyone set up with a tri bike and full aerobars?
All kinds of road bikes at IM. At some IM they are actually the bike of choice if it’s a hilly technical course.
Simon Lessing won IM USA last year on a road bike.
There was actually a Bike Friday (or it sure looked like one) at IM AZ on Saturday.
