Duathlon nationals–flat, hilly???

Bike Course for Duathlon Nationals is a combination of short hills (some are steep) and long flats. It is an urban course so there are a fair number of turns but the experienced racers have been suggesting TT bikes with deep dish or disc wheels. It is 3 laps for a total of 39K, with the relatively small waves that are well separated, traffic should not be an issue. We have planned additional street cleaning during the weekend and will be covering the expansion joints on the bridges.
