Dual mount for aero bars

Hi Guys, I’m looking for feedback on a dual mount I’m developing. The INDIGLO dual mount enables the attachment of 2 accessories without impeding on handlebar space. Originally designed for our INDIGLO5 front bike light, the INDIGLO dual mount also suits anything that’s either Garmin 1/4 twist or GoPro mount compatible.

It currently suits most 31.8mm bars for road and MTB, but I would also like to make it fit between stem and aerobar extensions.

Interested in feedback and also to know what space you have on your cockpit, particularly the width of your stem and clearance to the aerobar extension clamps.

Currently our design looks like this:

Have you heard of RaceWare?

I haven’t looked at any reviews, but they have a similar mount: LINK

Here’s an idea. Make a mount that bridges the aerobars like the Zipp BTA so that you accommodate various widths & you avoid the myriad of Aerobar Clamp configurations. Ski-Bends might be problematic for those that mount close to the shifters though.

Also, not everyone uses a Garmin … think PC7, Joule, etc.

Thanks for the intel Jamaican, This mount is primarily for our existing indiglo5 light customers but I figured I’d look into tweaking for aero bars as well.

looks like the image you posted is a 3d printed prototype, are they in production?

I believe K Edge just announced one similar as well…
