Dave, thanks. I heard these rumors there were these things called “hills” on the course. I didn’t understand the concept initially but some of the local cyclists explained that they had gotten passports to leave the great state of Louisiana a couple of times and had ridden their bikes on them. They claim that they’re a lot like the overpasses and bridges around town but the land itself actually goes up and down and they just pave the damn roads right on top of them. HUH! and they call us backwards down here in LA. At least we know how to make a good flat road.
