I’m interested to know how long athletes are waiting for confirmation of test results in Europe?
Here in NZ we generally get the results within 3 weeks from Drug Free Sport NZ, your little pink sheet turns up in the post.
In the States it’s a little longer maybe 4 - 5 weeks but we don’t seem to get any paperwork over here in NZ - not sure if it’s going somewhere else perhaps.
Back when racing ITU Sam would wait maybe 2 weeks max to get results in Europe and in fact world wide - but it seems at IM events in Europe it’s fairly common to wait up to 3 months. Does the RD pay on the basis of how quick they want the results back? Is it just the difference between different testing labs?
Interested to hear thoughts from anyone racing over that side of the world.
