If tri/running had prize money available to AG… They would likely test them too.
To add on mech doping: interestingly i have had some doubts of some of these cyclist power numbers, especially when you look at their indoor vs outdoor rides. One female social media influencer from brazil.. even a dual power set up can be doctored
Seems like it’s far easier and safer to tinker with the mechanical side of things in virtual racing than to dope.
Also, since the testing is only post race (i.e. in-competition), many drugs that are used in training (ex. EPO) can be discontinued with enough time to clear the system.
I applaud their efforts to counter cheating/doping, but am skeptical the measures they have chosen will have an impact.
