Saw this on Facebook today. Random guy I knew (many years ago) decided to let out his rage against road bikers:

seriously hates d*ckheads who ride there bike on the road in the dark of the night when there is a perfectly good sidewalk right next to them. passed this ahole on my way to an intersection n the light changed. so now this butthole is right behind me. Seriously?.. Im in a 3000lb vehicle with 200 hp, your on a 10 lb Schwinn with foot power… who do you think is gonna win when the light changes?.. Your just asking for trouble… prob just wanted a quick disability check… moron… (shwooo)… theres my rant for the day. lol

Wow, your area law makes a distinction between types of bikes . . . and/or has a bike speed limit for sidewalks?
Does the “average or above average speed” come with a number or is it the discretion of the officer?

My guess, is that is pretty rare; where do you live?

And all this time I thought they were called sideWALKS because you were supposed to walk on them. They aren’t called side rides. Oh wait, that’s the bike lane. Silly me.

The link states that bicycles and skateboard may not be ridden in excess of 10MPH on sidewalks.
