Well okay, mayoralty race is the correct term but morality race is more accurate! We’ll see how Tory does, thankfully TO voters saw through Olivia Chow’s facade!
I still shake my head that Doug Ford subbing in for his crack addict alcoholic brother managed to get 34% of the vote. Thank goodness Chow tanked and the vote didn’t get split enough to make a difference. I couldn’t honestly not laugh at anyone that told me they voted for Ford, but I guess that just makes me an elitist.
Tory was a shoe-in for Ontario premier until he stuck his foot in his mouth This was his second shot at glory so let’s see what he does with it. . Ford(s) had to go and I’m shocked that they got 34% of the vote. If it had been Chow’s late husband instead of her I’d suspect Jack would be mayor tonight by a long shot.
I was at a new customer’s house here in the Cincinnati suburbs last week. His license plate was “LEAFS FAN”. In his garage he had a big Rob Ford banner hanging up.

Of course he will. I only hope that he gets even less of the vote than his doofus brother.

Tory also lost the Mayoral election in 2003 to David Miller.
Jack would not have ever run for Mayor of Toronto, he was the leader of the NDP and doing quite well at it.
