Double layer cake

…ok…more like a double brick.

Based on a friend’s coach’s suggestion, we did:

1 hr. ride
20 min. run
1 hr. ride
20 min. run

I was feeling like shit on the first go around but on the second bike leg (slightly hillier), I got legs from above. And felt great on the final run to boot.

Anyone else do this kind of workout? I kind of dug it.

I’ve done similar workouts in the winter, as bouncing back and forth between the treadmill and the trainer can break up the monotony of being stuck indoors and needing to get a long workout in.
