Don't let me rant about bike design!

Damn UCI. If it wasn’t for those clowns we’d all be riding Cervelo Baracchis by now…

I was watching some show about celebrities that own hundreds of cars. I dread to thing what my bike collection would be like if i had that kind of money…Hell, I’d have a Lotus as a training bike…

If I was on MTV Cribs i would have about 25 bikes instead of the usual 5 cars…and I would have a track built around the house for the hell of it…

Your own velodrome, now that would be a blast!

I’d have my own indoor velodrome with an olympic sized pool in the middle, and a flat running track around the banked bike track. Top that.

I’d have an indoor velodrome, a running track on the outside of that, a 50m pool running down the middle and a wind tunnel in the back garden…

I’d just buy gallons of EPO
.

Yah, but mine would be completly enclosed in a giant altitude tent/dome/chamber.

How much to rent the guest house (including access to facilities)?

i had a lotus in college that i bought from a guy who needed drug money…(sad but true. paid him one hundred bucks). don’t know anything about them, but it got stolen out of my garage…that was sad. it was such a pretty bike–blue with a little pink on it.

Carbon or steel?

it was steel and the shifters were on the down tube. old school. cages on the peddles. can’t seem to find out anything about them. no longer made I guess?? anyway, lotus was spelled in white letters, royal blue frame and i think there was a little pink on it. circa 1992 or 1993, possibly 1994 but not sure about that.

That’s sad. I bet it’d still look classy, today.

Lotus quit making bikes in the early 90’s.
I guess they went back to just making strange looking cars.

A 50 mile bike course with smooth asphalt, heavily wooded with a few creeks, 65 degrees climate controlled with no wind, several ranges of hills, no cars allowed and Budweiser girls every 1/2 mile.

yeah, i really liked that bike. it was my first real bike. never really understood the gears, but i rode it everywhere. it seems to me that there was a flower on it that was pink. i bought it from a guy–it really did look girlie. i’m sure the jackass that stole it abused it and everything else. what a shame.

then you’d be like robin williams…
