My parents are moving to Utah and not taking their dogs. I need to find them good homes so if you are in the D/FW area read carefully.
There are two dogs.
Rock is a 7 year old black Lab…
Pros- A huge lover. Loves riding in pick up trucks, swimming, napping and eating. Dreams of doing all those things at the same time. Even tempered and adores children. This dog backed a bull away from my nephew and that bull was huge and meaner then satan.
Cons- Over weight, he is huge and chunky. Not fixed.
Risco is a 18 month old Rat Terrier.
Pros- Brown and white with gun dog spots on his front legs. One ear up, one down makes him even cuter. Loves people and children. He will do anything to be a part of a family and views other animals as friends. Does not like to be on furniture so no need to train him off your couch.
Cons- Not fixed. Cowars when approached. No one has ever mistreated this animal in anyway but is scared of everything it seems. When affraid he shows no aggression but wants to hide or roll on his back.
If you have anymore questions PM me and I will provide more information. Will seperate them in order to find homes.
When my husband’s parents moved to Florida, they left him behind too. Luckily I gave him a good home, even though he was kinda scruffy looking. He turned out to be a great pet.
If you don’t find a home for them here, here is a link for a list of pet rescue groups in the Dallas Area that you could surrrender them to. They should all be non-kill shelters. I would recommend going with a group that puts them in foster care together and tries to find them a home together since they are older. The first group on the list looked good.
I agree completely, friends girlfriend gave up her cats for him, cats went to a “nice shelter” but I don’t think that is cool at all. Give up the kids, yes, animals no way
