Was the old one 31.8?

I don’t think so. The one I use is 26.0mm. I did a quick search on ebay and did not find any that were 31.8mm.

If I’m picking an aluminum base bar, the PRO Missile is what I’m going with. Here’s a picture, though not really a great one.

Why aren’t there any deeper sectioned alloy Base bars

Hard to fabricate deep sections from a single piece of aluminum. Also, uci non-compliant base bars is a niche and most manufacturers are looking for the broadest market on what is a lower margin product.

kcnc has a knock off Bayonet out that looks pretty nice.

Weight I’m guessing. I’m surprised Flo hasn’t done a nice alloy cockpit.
