I heard a rumor that some company (FSA?) came out with a new compact crankset designed for the new Shimano integrated crank/BB? In other words you can keep your external bearing BB with the new crankset that has the built in spindle. Can anyone confirm this and provide any info?
Shimano is supposed to have one on the way… not sure when they will be avaliable.
Give it 8 more weeks, should be able to get a shimano one to slip right in.

FSA DOES already have their SLK MegaExo Compact crankset that uses external bearings like the Shimano. Not sure if the Shimano bearing cups would work with it, though. Not sure if this is the “rumored” crankset…
