-Similar to snapfish for photos, but for video?
How big of a video were you looking to host?
bump
.
Probably less than 2 minutes.
If you’re in a pinch and just need to publish a video real quick I can host it on my .Mac website for a while, I’ve got a couple hundred extra MBs that I’m not using… just send me an email or PM me or something.
You might be able to host it on your website if you have enough space
.
If you need help with this Tom shoot me a PM.
If you know who I am or what I do for a living you will see that I can help you out. The time of the vid has nothing to do with it. It is about the format and compression used to make the vid. That will change from what type of format you want to use and what you use to compress it. I can take a 1GIG DV stream raw and convert it down to about a 20mb file that will run for almost 8 minutes. I have experience with this if you need help. Last time I checked I was burning down between 30 and 40 GIGS of bandwidth a day just in video. You have a lot of options here it just depends on what you want to do. One route off the top of my head is get with your hosting guys and see if they can offer you a windows media server ala carte to your hosting. I looked up who you are hosted with and don’t know them so I don’t know much about what they offer.
Anyway…feel free to get in touch with me if you need help. I can also show you some neat tricks with vids and compression if needed.
