On another post QR said I was out to steal TripleThreat’s status. Not so, I now realize that I was being a zealot about off topic threads. A zealot is a zealot whether it’s religion, politics or any other hot topic, lesson learned. I sure never expected to see my handle in a post like this so I think I’ll just keep my mouth shut for awhile. My wife and kids love me so thats 4 if you count Mr Tibbs.

I have an image of those wooden clogs that are worn in Holland. So, Woodenshoes is cool with me.
One other vision: Detto Pietro wooden-soled cycle shoes with nailed-in cleats. Yes, I had a pair. I even raced in modern Dettos (with a plastic sole) as late as 1997.
I once saw a pair of Addias cycling shoes that appeared to have a wooden/cardboard sole.
