Does anyone else feel like a seizure is coming on

…when browsing ST from the relentless flashing banner ads? If you are on a page for to long reading a story, or a long post, it simply gets overwhelming and I end up bailing. I get the need for ads and the advertisers desire for us to see them but cycling through the content, over and over and over, is over the top and quite distracting.

This probably should have been posted in cry like a bitch but I’m curious if other people feel the same way.

Agree 100% and often I will scroll up or down to get away from at least part of the eternal flashing ads.

I’m not seeing anything flash. But, I have my tinfoil hat on.

Seriously though, some flash rates are known to trigger epileptic seizures. This has been a known issue for screen presentation for many years. Given the level of folks involved in building this site, I’d be surprised if they hadn’t taken that into consideration.
