I’m curious as to opinions, brands, etc. Sof sol, Sorbothane, Spenco, others?
My Sports Med Dr recommended that I use Superfeet insoles in all my shoes (running, cycling, street, everything) when i got a case of plantar fasciitis a few years back. I’ve replaced my running shoes every 300 miles since then, and replace my Superfeet insoles with every other pair of running shoes, and have never had a problem since. I’m sold on them for life. Of course, it all depends on why you need insoles. I have low arches, and these work great for me.
Starting using Superfeet for all of my shoes (run, bike, walking) after having plantar probs. Doc told me get somekind of good insoles – since my feet have healed - no problems since
I use Sof sol in my cycling shoes, love them.
Yep…the $15 Dr. Scholl’s active sport ones. Been doing this for quite some time.
My PT recommended superfeet to me as well for my pf issue.
Now, I will not run or ride without a pair.

you use sof sol in your cycling shoes? I was looking at this for cushioning while running. I’ve used superfeet in my cycling shoes, as well as the specialized inserts. superfeet cause too much arch pain while running for me.
I use sorbothane graphite arch insoles and change them every other shoes like a previous poster said. I have NO arches though so they help me a fair amount. I started using insoles in my cycling shoes but only seem to help on the REALLY flat soled shoes like my nike pogios. My sidis are probably fine without them.
I have a small fortune in replacement insoles. One in every set of shoes including cycling shoes. I like the Superfeet as well as the sof sol brands. I also replace my insoles every other time I purchase a new set of running shoes. The old insoles get moved to one of my normal street/dress shoes.
Superfeet definitely!
I’m on the same plan as jkat only I have one high arch and one low arch.
