I am trying to avoid inefficient subscribing. Too many podcasts to tri them all out. I would rather be efficient from the git-go. Hey, would Newtons do the trick
Which podcasts seem to have some meat to them? Which ones have info and interviews that keep you coming back? And which ones would you say to stay away from?
Not specifically triathlon - more endurance sports based - I really like The Competitors with Bob Babbit and Paul Huddle. I am working my way through the old interviews.
x2 on the competitors, awesome show. Also, IM Talk (formerly ironman talk). David Warner has an awesome podcast - Tri-Talk ( check out the back issues). Also âZen and the Art of Triathlonâ is a great show and the host, Brett, posts here on occasion.
I really like the age grouper. They give you more training info etc that Zen. I like Zen, just alot of his personal life. He seems like a good guy though. Funny kid.
I look forward to two weekly pod cast shows; IM Talk and Everyman Tri. Also, I listen to Competitor Radio although it is not as regular. All of them are informative and entertaining! I try to time them into my 25 mile bike commute rides. The ride is mostly on a designated bike trail so it is safer than riding along traffic with ear phones. A few other great non tri ones that I tune into are the Disciplined Investor and Dave Ramsey.
Big fan of Tri-Talk if you like analytical science-based discussions. Heâs supposed to be back to releasing monthly episodes again this year, but it will take you a while to go back through his currently published episodes until that point.
IMtalk.me - Best Iron podcast around.
They are on iTunes as well as throught the above web site.
Two lads from New Zealand who have been âon the airâ for the past 3 years 150 podcasts and counting.
Besides they are using the sign off I suggested on show 38.
Another vote for Tri Talk. David Warden is very analytical about things and really sticks to his âmissionâ of focusing on how to swim, bike, and run faster.
Competitors with Huddle and Babbit is great. Great interviews and those guys have been on the tri scene since the stone age.
Simply Stu is another good one. He has some good interviews with big time pros and has an excellent age-grouper perspective on the sport.
the JBST smart cast is a great one as wellâŚJoe Beer is the mind behind itâŚhe usually brings a few tips such as beginner, nutrition, tech tip. I think the co-host is Allen Ward who has been on it with him for about a year now. Tri Talk with David Warden is another good one. But some of his stuff is way to Mathy for my likes, but needless to say i listen to them all usually over and over. The Competitors is GREATâŚSimplyStu but i think he fell off the map.
Iâm still here. I didnât fall off the map. I have been doing a lot of training for New Orleans 70.3. Anyway, I have a lot of things coming soon. I have a new interview with Desiree Ficker coming this Sunday. Hope you are all having a great start to the new training year. - Stu
