Do you know what kind of frame this is?

A friend saw this picture in a magazine. (sorry for the quality of the pic) Any ideas on the brand/model?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Not real. It does sort of look like a Softride PowerWing in the rear. Head tube is more like a Trek Y-Foil and the wheels would be a copy of the old (slow) Spin brand tri spoke.

And why is that guy flipping us off?

In other news - that is a Flite saddle that is from as far back as 1990ish, the aero bar is a Profile mixture of old gear. The brake levers are mid 90’s circa pre-STi levers. The seat post is a Thompson. It has a long cage rear Der.

So…not only is it fake…it is an OLD OLD fake.

This always crack me up when I read responses like this. It’s like a golf fan saying “remember the 3rd hole at Augusta in 1987 when such and such did x and y ?” or a baseball fan saying “remember back in the 1989 NCLS when x threw that 3-2 fastball when he should have thrown a sinker to get that double play ball ?” Some of you people know too much for your own good

Yeah? I STILL ride a Flite saddle on all of my road bikes and have two more (new) that will go on future bikes. I also still ride a Thompson seat post on all of my road bikes.
