i just put pretzels in a bowl with water and microwaved them, rinsed them and added tomatoes, onions, ketchup, mustard and hot peppers.
my training buddy was thinking the best recovery meal would be ovaltine powder smothered in hershey’s choc syrup and chocolate jimmies. also, a fan of ketchup, she toyed with the idea of replacing her gu packets with what flavor-um heinz 57
when i went out with this guy he ate hot dogs and im a veg so i had the sauerkraut with parmesan cheese and ketchup (on 2nd thought this could be why we didnt last too long). also like cottage cheese with soy sauce thus avoiding the need for e-caps.
sorry, but just wondering if anyone else runs into this kind of thing
“i just put pretzels in a bowl with water and microwaved them, rinsed them and added tomatoes, onions, ketchup, mustard and hot peppers” - that is the wierdest thing i have EVER heard. I can’t even imagine what it tastes like. yeah, and how do you rinse wet pretzels?
Don’t know what the big deal with cottage cheese is - it seems everyone here hates the taste but I reckon it must taste different in Europe cause I like the taste (it’s actually quite mild).
well, you have to drain the water out as it turns kinda brown, and then you run fresh water over them to get the rest of the salt residue off and drain em by holding your hand over the bowl. some fall into the sink and apparently look like “worms”. oatmeal made with coffee: wow
I enjoy the taste of cottage cheese and i’m in America. in fact i eat it everyday as a mid morning snack. actually it’s time for it now…
i tend to mix seemingly random things together into meals. i look in the fridge at leftovers and put them all in something. my girlfriend just shakes her head at me and asks if i’m high.
No, I’m a pretty standard eater. Last night Aderhold and I had chicken and rice for dinner from the local Arabic restaurant. It was good. This morning, a Red Bull, a muffin at the Bed & Breakfast during the moring ride to the island and a cup of coffee.
I eat a lot of international stuff, middle eastern, japenese, indian foods. I am a decent cook and enjoy all the rich flavors of these and the emphasis of veggies and grains instead of the american meat and potatoes. Weirdest things I eat are pb and tomatoes or pb and sardine sandwiches.
