Here’s a VERY brief video of me on the trainer yesterday (so brief b/c my wife could only keep the toddler away from the bike for like 30 seconds). I initially had her record it so I could get a glimpse of how flat my back was and what general profile I had heading into the wind. To me, at first glance, It just looks like I’m might be positioned to catch wind more than slicing through it. I.e. I’m riding pretty high in the front. What say you? Agree? Disagree?
You’re not nearly as high as you seem to think. For many people I would call it a great, sensible position. But your body type suggests to me that you will have the ability to go lower than most of us can. So for YOU specifically, I would say that you should experiment with going lower and seeing how it feels.
So basically I DISAGREE that you are positioned to catch the wind, but don’t think you should necessarily accept that position as it is.
my guess is that you are sitting on your adamo wrong and that is what is causing you to not be able to rotate your pelvis. you are only arching your upper back, is your lower spine fused?
move saddle back and you will likely find it easier to rotate forward and lower bars
I am too lazy to look-up clipart right now so I will just answer the question. Initial thought was your position looks fine, my question is can you really hold your neck that low for any amount of time and what do you look like with a helmet on. Oh, what bars are you using btw?

Your eyeballs move a lot its really not that hard although it seems to be the belief here that you can’t see where you’re going in a low position.
I wasn’t concerned if he could see, that would be evident the first few minutes of any ride. I wanted to know if he could hold his head that low or if he was going to be looking for relief every few minutes…in which case, the position means nothing.

Neck doesn’t bother me on rides. The real question would be whether it stays this low after an hour or two…not sure. Something to pay attention to during my longer rides.
The helmet is use is the older Rudy Project Syton. My guess is that it’s probably not helping my aero profile but hopefully not hindering it too much. Again…that’s only a guess with a pic of some sort. I’ll work on that.
