Just bought a Specialized Shiv pro. My standard English cartridge bearings fit but I wasn’t sure how to use the 2 sealed bearings and locking rings. I will be using a Dura ace crank.
Thanks for your help and wisdom.

Shivs all use BB30/OSBB. You will need an adapter to use your Shimano cranks.
The two rings need to go inside the BB, it’s a little tricky but they click in where the bearing goes in and keeps it from going deeper in the BB. There is a groove which will it will “click” into. Its pretty tricky and took me approx 12 minutes to put in just one. After that you put in the bearings supplied. Unless you already have those, or use the supplied adapter (the two black and aluminium things) if you want to use a non BB30 crank. So if you use the adapters, you will not be needing the two sealed bearing at all. Save them in case you ever go BB30 crank. Same way you wont be using the adapters (black and alu things) if you go BB30. Hope this helps.
Source: I am doing the same thing you are, but am almost done xD.
Awesome, thanks for the help.
How deep do the snap rings go? (Deeper then the threads on the BB?)
I’m also wondering how smooth the pedaling will feel just using the black Aluminum adapters instead of cartridge bearing cups.
wait, threads? Perhaps we have different framesets. Mine does not have threads. The rings snap into the groove seen below and the bearings simply pop in afterwards (with some grease).
Does yours look like this picture?
Here’s what mine looks like.

Trying to make sense of it all.
Your frame has an English threaded adapter already installed in it.
You don’t need the clips or adapters.
Just screw a Shimano English bottom bracket into it.
It looks like your shiv has an English bb. Not sure why you have BB30 stuff with it. Put a regular Shimano BB in it (set the rest of the BB30 stuff aside as you don’t need it.) and install your Shimano crank.
Indeed, compare the two pics. Yours has an adapter in there. Makes sense now. Is your frame new? factory?
Ok perfect. Not sure why I got the other pieces.
Bought the frame from a bike store in NJ. Thanks for the help!
