It could be argued that the Dead Cat Bounce occurred from the November low.
There were plenty of rallies during the Great Depression as well. Just like then, there are very serious problems that are going to take some time to sort out… many years at least. In the 30s at least the US had been on an ascending trend relative to the rest of the world… certainly not true now.
So where is the best place to short the market… Dow of 8500?
