Disk - power - p4 ----dilemma!

Patiently waiting for the P4’s to arrive and from what I have read/heard sticking a Sub 9 Disk under it is not the way to go. Which leaves me with the Zipp 900. I really want a powertap hup setup. I don’t believe Zipp makes the 900 with the powertap option.

I am open to ideas / suggestions.

zipp 800 with a cover?

Thanks but I really wanted a real disk. I have 1080’s and could go with PT there. Does Hed provide PT on any of their disks?

Which bikes?

P4 and QR CD 0.1.

P4 and QR CD 0.1

…and we were supposed to have “devined” this somehow??

Yep. I believe any of their wheels can be upgraded with a PT.

Would make for a good movie…

I’ve ridden a P4, but not the new QR.

Tom,
Any thoughts on the original question?

Thanks

What if an 808 with a cover was better than a ‘real’ disk?

it might be =)

might be lighter than a 1080 too

what would Peter Reid do?

FYI the zipp 1080 can’t be built into a PT hub.

how about the hed stinger PT disc?

P4, Zipp disc + power meter?? You’re obviously rolling in money   so get the Zipp 900 and an SRM.

Zipp makes a Powetap- in the clincher disc, Zipp 900, and Sub9 disc.

HED makes a JET clincher PT disc- that will fit a P4 (they have a skinnier bump option and can even make a 19 mm rim option).

you have plenty of options…

wireless SRM and you can run whatever wheels you want, you can move the SRM to another bike in about 5 mins.

/thread

Very much agreed…just get an SRM since money isn’t an issue.

Really? Why not? You can get one from wheelbuilder…
