Are there any links out there on the “engineering” of a disk wheel? How are the rims bonded to the skins or are they? How are the hubs bonded? etc etc.
My main curiousity lies in the bond between the hub and the outer skin as I’m assuming the outer skin is acting as the “Spoke” of the wheel and not the core. Do they use standard hubs or special “Disk” hubs with a special bonding area?
