Bad Weather.
Georgia had terrible weather witht he first ever Discover Adventure P.R.O. Series Training Camp at Unicoi State Park near Helen, Georgia.
Temperatures in the 30’s and rain/snow/sleet all week made conditions difficult for determined cyclists who trained over 300 miles in 6 days on some of the most difficult climbs in the U.S. including the infamous Brasstown Bald climb from the Dodge Tour of Georgia.
15 athletes of all ability levels attended to have Frankie Andreu, Vincent Gee of the Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team and yours truly coach, wrench and fit them through an intense curriculum of training and learning the finer points of the sport.
It was just like fun, but different during five hour rides in cold rain.
More to come. Good to be back. My cat bit me.
