The watch is style at it’s highest. It is designed to do what watches are supposed to do, tell time. When a man puts on silly tight clothes and a helmet there must be an element that helps him still look like a man.
The watch is a 10 out of 10.
Me too. Very cool. Thanks for posting.
Those are awesome!! I hope that means Nike will make some more/better high end cycling items … or sponsor the team next season
I think maybe this is a PR photo, so he’s wearing all the official team gear… but yeah, that watch looks funny.
It’s Tommy D. in stage 1 of the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré… he was sick (sort of looks it in this shot) and pulled out.
What about a Starbucks green jersey?
WooHoo…
Yeah, and McDonalds…
So everyone will be happy and smiling riding the exact same bike. Why do they bother making different colors?
Wouldn’t be caught dead being anywhere near that junk…
Well, all that fashion care is not making’em faster anyway… Discovery is suffering like hell in France.
I like the jerseys, but what’s with that WATCH (should be a digital/HRM/ makes everything except toast, kinda watch ![]()
do you not know about euro cycling rules? official euro rules (found here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=29616 ) state that:
“While training a Tag Heuer or other suitably classy watch shall be worn at all times.”
It is also rumored that any and all function aside from time automatically disqualifies the watch and the title of Euro cyclist is immediately stripped. Tommy D is only following code.
