So I’m on a tight student budget, would I be better off getting a used disc but still keep my shallow rim front or is it better to get a pair of 60/90?
Best bang for your buck is a used deep front and wheel cover for the rear.
Get a Jet 9+ for the front and wheel cover for the rear.
As a general rule of thumb spend your aero money on the front of the bike. A good aero front wheel should be more beneficial than a disc I would think you could find a disc/60 combo for about the same price as an60/90
