any thoughts on the following: i have Xentis four spoke wheels front and back. i am consdiering switching to a disc rear wheel, will this be much of an advantage if any?
That’s an easy one: USE THE EFFING SEARCH. There are more threads about wheels and discs than anything else on this forum.
Those wheels dont get tested al lot, but a disc should give some advantage but not make you into superman.
much has been written about all sorts of different discs, but one thing is fairly consistent. if you’re not going more than 23-24 mph, it doesn’t provide you any more efficiency.
That’s utterly false. Discs have the greatest advantage at high yaw angles. Who sees high yaw on a regular basis? Slower riders.
