Didn't like Kayano 12s, how are the 13s?

I have trained in Kayanos for many years. Loved them up 'til the 12s - they just weren’t the same. The 13s seem to fit more like the 11s and prior - before I purchase I was wondering what the on the road experience is like.

If you like the 11’s, Road Runner carries them now as a classic shoe. Made me happy. Best.

Im a bit different, I loved the 12’s but wasn’t a big fan of the 13’s. I agree, the 11’s were probably the best ones they had

I loved the 11’s, hated the 12’s…and switched to the Mizuno Wave Nirvanas. Switched back to the Kayano’s with the 13’s…they feel similar to the 11’s…they feel lighter and more flexible, which I like. But the heel cup is not as stable…and its causing some achilles issues for me.

I’m probably going to go back to Mizuno’s when i’ve worn these out.

The 12’s were my first Keyano’s, I love em’ I have 3 pairs…if the 11’s and 13’s are supposed to be better my feet are in for a treat.

More comfortable but not as smooth IMHO. I’d use my 13s for long runs but keep the 12s for speedwork. That said, I have done all sorts of training on both with no problems (as would be expected with my overpronation).

13’s are back up to their standard IMO. No complaints.
