Did anyone see....?

Did anyone here catch the Frontline documentary “In the Company of Soldiers” the other night?

Reviews? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

All I keep hearing about it was the controversy over having to censor it to avoid FCC fines.

I had made a point of watching it but then got bogged down studying for my crummy midterm (thank you very much, SMcGregor).

Damn I missed it too… but it will be up on the web on Friday:

I don’t want to ruin the ending for anyone who missed it, but the unit profiled doesn’t find any WMD.

They do shoot a dog, though.

And they do a fair bit of crying when a guy in their unit dies after accidentally choking on some flowers and sweets.

Freedom is untidy.

I really thought after some of your postings on another thread you convinced me your issues are not with the military but the administration. Now this. Why do you make condescending comments like this towards the soldiers? You really did almost have me fooled into believing some of your thoughts on what we can/should do but not now.

And they do a fair bit of crying when a guy in their unit dies after accidentally choking on some flowers and sweets.

I can see the smile on your face, yet another notch on Trilarry’s sick wish list for American Soldiers to die.

ATG,

T_L has been doing this for years. Just ignore…
