Anyone using these? Know where to buy? Size comparisons to your previous shoes?
nobody uses these?
I have ridden a pair of Diadora road shoes and they fit the same as Sidi. That is all the info I have.
I use them, my local shop carries Diadora. I think Cannondale is involved in their distribution, you may want to check with a local Cannondale dealer, they can probably get them. I think Demerly carries them, maybe he’ll chime in.
In ten years of trying a bunch of different shoes, these are my all time favorites. They are light, stiff and the tongue/strap design is pretty clever. In addition, they seem to fit my foot perfectly. I would agree they are sized pretty close to Sidi.

I have a pair that I use half the time. The other poster’s note about them fitting Sidi-like is spot on. I use them on my road bike and have had no major problems thus far. They fit narrow like Sidis, which I like, but narrow shoes like this can cause problems on really long rides. I always ride without socks, so I need a snug fit to make up for the fact that I don’t have a sock in there taking up space. The inner of the Infinitys isn’t made for sockless wear, but that’s nothing a little talcum powder can’t fix.
I would say they’re most similar to the Sidi Genius 5 Pro Carbon. When I compare the two, the one plus for the Diadoras would be durability. I like the fact that Diadora realized adding a few extra grams to their shoes has no effect on your speed, but using more material on the upper means they’ll last longer than super-light shoes. I mean, I guess it’s cool to brag to your friends that your shoes weigh less than a pencil, but I really don’t feel a difference in the ride when I toss on a pair of feather weight kicks.
Staying with that same comparison, the one advantage the Sidis would have over the Diadoras is stiffness. I love the super-stiff feel of Sidis thick carbon soles – but we’re talking about tiny differences here. I feel like most people won’t sense a difference in stiffness with various carbon-soled shoes unless they’re sprinting or otherwise really mashing the pedals (e.g., climbing in a monster gear).
So, I train on my road bike with my Diadoras, because they’re comfy and they can handle big mileage, and then I’ll race on either Shimano or Sidis. I prefer the power transfer of Shimano’s shoe + pedal system for sprint and Olympic races, but depending on the state of my joints, I often opt for Sidis + Speedplay for 70.3 or Ironman, since I like a little float when I’m gonna be riding for a while.
I need help. Why am I awake right now contemplating which of my three cycling shoes I like best?
Hope that helps! Feel free to PM or e-mail me with any other questions.

we’re talking their carbon white and gold tri shoes right?
Good to hear about the fit, I ride Sidis on my road bike. Switching to Diadora potentially from Shimano tri shoes.
thanks Brad, that’s a great reply.
I hope you’re talking about the Diadora carbon tri shoes, as that’s what I was looking for, but it sounds like you’re talking road shoes.
Any idea about their carbon tri shoes?
thanks,
Eric
Oh yea…I missed the “Tri” part of this thread’s title…I start drinking early on Fridays.
And to think I wrote all that and I didn’t even answer your question! Sorry about that! I was actually referring to the ProRacer. I have horrible form, so I’ve rubbed the name of the shoes off from hitting my crank arms and I couldn’t remember the correct name. If you ever have any questions about the ProRacer, you know who to ask!
Have a good weekend,
