DexaScan Results

After reading so much about Dexa Scans I decided to get one done myself. Ends up I have 13% BF, very dense bones, and my right leg is 2 pounds heavier (with muscle) than my left.

Is this an issue? I assume that I should work towards balancing this out? If so, how should I start? Pistol squats or something?

Has anyone else here gotten a Dexa? How were your results?

I have done Dexa before and the only surprising thing was my total body fat (which was much higher than my Tanita scale). My legs and arms fall pretty close in terms of the lean mass.

Are you saying that your right leg has two pounds more of lean muscle? That is very hard to believe.

I’ll post the results here tonight to show, but yes 2lbs more of lean muscle in my right leg than my left. The person doing the scan said that was very extreme.
My legs dont physically look different in my opinion. If I flex both of them my right quad does look a bit bigger I guess.

Prior injury to you left leg?

I actually had a cast on my right leg when I was in 7th grade (now I’m 33). If anything I would think the right would be smaller from the cast.
I must favor my right leg when pedaling or something.
